Bubinga, Ebony & Fused Glass
A six-sided snowflake pattern is seen though the “snowy” lens of fused glass
Fused glass by Seattle glass artist Doug Hansen

This Greene & Greene Style piece was designed by Darrell Peart with the geometry of a  six-sided snowflake in mind. The Greene’s were heavily influenced by Japanese Design Motifs and with this design Darrell decided to accentuate that influence even more.

The top is fused glass by Douglas Hansen, a Seattle based glass artist. The patterns in the glass are reminiscent of  falling snow. Through that lens is seen the six-sided geometric shape of a snowflake.

This piece is a companion to Darrell’s other Rafter Tail pieces:

Rafter Tail Coffee Table

Tercet Occasional Table

Tall Corner Table

Special Thanks to Yoshiko Yamamoto for translating snowflake and the  Japanese Characters.
