Terry’s Starburst Taboret Table

The design for this piece was a request from Terry (my wife).  She liked the starburst veneer I had laid up for an elliptical top of another project (a revision of my Elliptical Table). She felt the pattern was better  suited for a round table top.

The starburst is in six segments. I decided to go with six legs as well as six solid edge segments to encompass the top – all aligned on the segments of the starburst. The legs are borrowed from my Fremont series of bedroom furniture – specifically my Fremont bed.
